Houston, Texas – July 9, 2001 - NL Industries, Inc. (NYSE: NL) will host a conference call to discuss its second quarter earnings report on Wednesday, July 18, 2001 at 11:00 a.m. (EDT). Mr. J. Landis Martin, President and Chief Executive Officer, will host the call.
